Privacy Policy

AngleFeed (“AngleFeed,” “we,” “us”) is operated by Chaski Enterprises Ltd., a company registered in Colorado, USA. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and your choices. Questions: willy@myleadbuddy.com.

1. Information we collect

  • Account info from Google Sign-In: your name, email address, and profile image.
  • YouTube data (only if you connect it): your channel details, public video statistics, and YouTube Analytics reports — all read-only. We never post, edit, or delete anything on your channel.
  • Content you create in AngleFeed: channels, source lists, voice examples, memory facts, generated titles/thumbnails/scripts, and chat messages with our AI assistant.
  • Usage & billing: which actions you take and their cost, and credit-purchase records. Card details are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide the service: find trending stories, generate packaging, and tailor output to your voice and preferences.
  • To bill usage and manage your credit balance.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use Google user data to train AI/ML models. We do not use Google user data for advertising.

3. YouTube API Services & Google Limited Use

AngleFeed uses YouTube API Services and Google OAuth. By connecting your Google account or YouTube you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

Limited Use disclosure:AngleFeed's use of information received from Google APIs (including all YouTube Analytics scopes and Google account profile information) will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke AngleFeed's access to your Google/YouTube data at any time via the Google security settings page.

4. How we share, transfer, and disclose Google user data

Google user data we collect (your name, email, profile image, YouTube channel data, and YouTube Analytics) is stored on infrastructure operated by U.S.-based subprocessors listed below, and is processed solely to deliver user-facing AngleFeed features.

We never:

  • Sell or rent Google user data to anyone.
  • Use Google user data for advertising or to serve ads.
  • Use Google user data to train, fine-tune, or improve AI/ML models.
  • Share YouTube data with our AI generation providers (Anthropic, Replicate) or with X, Reddit, or other content sources.
  • Transfer Google user data outside our subprocessor chain except when legally required (e.g. valid court order) or to protect the safety of users or the public.

We share Google user data only with the following subprocessors, and only to the minimum extent needed for them to perform their service:

  • Google (Authentication + YouTube Data API + YouTube Analytics API) — the data originates here.
  • Neon (Postgres database, US region) — stores your account record, YouTube channel metadata, and analytics snapshots at rest.
  • Upstash (Redis cache, US region) — temporary cache of derived data (story lists, packaging output). Does NOT store raw YouTube Analytics.
  • Vercel (application hosting, US region) — runs the AngleFeed application; processes requests in memory.

Other subprocessors (Anthropic for AI text generation, Replicate for thumbnail images, Stripe for payments, X and Reddit for public post research, Resend for transactional email) do not receive Google user data.

5. Other content and subprocessors (non-Google data)

Beyond Google user data, AngleFeed also processes content you create in the app and uses the following service providers as needed:

  • Anthropic — AI generation (your story/channel context is sent to generate packaging, scripts, and chat replies). Anthropic does not train models on this input per their Commercial Terms.
  • Replicate — thumbnail image generation.
  • X (Twitter) and Reddit — public post data used as research input.
  • Stripe — payment processing (PCI-DSS Level 1).
  • Resend — transactional email (e.g. scheduled digest emails).

6. How we protect your data

We apply the following safeguards to all user data, with extra care for sensitive data such as Google user data, YouTube Analytics, OAuth tokens, and payment records:

  • Encryption in transit: All data exchanged between your browser and AngleFeed, and between AngleFeed and our subprocessors, is encrypted with TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS).
  • Encryption at rest: Stored data is encrypted at rest by Neon (Postgres) and Upstash (Redis), both using AES-256.
  • OAuth tokens: Google OAuth refresh tokens are stored in the encrypted database, never logged, and never exposed to the client browser.
  • Access controls: Application-layer authorization scopes every database query to the authenticated user — your data is not visible to other users. Internal access to production is restricted to a small number of authorized personnel and requires SSO + 2FA.
  • Payment data: Credit card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never receive or store full card numbers. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
  • No third-party tracking: We do not embed third-party advertising pixels, analytics scripts, or tracking cookies.
  • Token scope minimization: We request the minimum YouTube scopes needed for the feature (read-only analytics + channel info). We do not request write, upload, or destructive scopes.
  • Patching & dependencies: Production dependencies are updated regularly to incorporate security patches; high-severity CVEs are addressed within days.
  • Incident response: If we detect a security incident affecting your data, we will notify affected users by email within 72 hours and report as required by applicable law.

7. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing willy@myleadbuddy.com. We will delete your personal data and Google user data within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal or tax reasons. You can disconnect YouTube at any time via your Google account permissions.

8. Cookies & sessions

We use a first-party session cookie (HTTP-only, Secure, SameSite=Lax) to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children

AngleFeed is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, a notice in the app.
